Recent Graduations!

Can you imagine living with the same, say, 20 people day and night for 77 days?!  Believe it or not, over 1,600 have come and done so at CLM.  Every Friday the staff and students coordinate a graduation ceremony for the heads of the pack who have endured countless trials, home sickness, thoughts of relapse and have earned their diploma, entrance to the half-way house onsite, staff-volunteer status, and most importantly....serenity and hope for a new life.

Please consider the ministry in your thoughts and prayers.  Over a half million dollars is raised annually to cover the expenses of operating a state-of-the-art treatment center offering cutting edge solutions, based on age-old traditions and biblical teachings.  Anything you could do to help the ministry would be so greatly appreciated, as you will find reading through the site at words by graduates and current students of the program.  Much less than you would expect can really go a long way in the service of the Lord!

Wondering what you can do to help?

...We we've been wondering the same thing...

Volunteers are always needed at Christian Love Ministries.  A great part of what makes our program outstanding is the number and quality of fine, selfless individuals who somehow find time and talents to help Christian Love thrive.  Overcoming addictions is very difficult, and you can expect to meet people from all walks of life, all whom are at a crossroads in life. 

Working at the Market Place in Murphy or Blairsville, GA 

Until you have spent time with a person who is sincere about knowing the Lord and overcoming the bondage that has been controling their lives, you can't imagine simply what your presence alone can offer.  A voice of stability, encouragement, Christian Love and testimony goes so far to help these children of God to understand and to become wiling to break their chains of alcohol abuse and drug using mischief. 

Although their reward is in Heaven, we would like to feature prominant volunteers of Christian Love Ministries on upcoming pages on this site.  Some of these volunteers have been with us since day number one, over 25 years ago, and they continue to provide and provision as they are able.  We realize that not everyone has the some abilities or resources.  That is how God made us.  Let's rejoice!  Please consider some of the following volunteer duties and roles you might choose from:

Weekend Staff Voluteers

Each weekend we need responsible adults to  'hold down the fort' so to speak for one of two eight hour shifts.  Oftentimes, a couple or two friends will split one shift in half or share the entire experience together.  We encourage creativity at Christian Love.  Perhaps your entire Sunday school class would enjoy coming to monitor the students one Saturday or Sunday.  Lunch and dinner our provided, yet we have been surprised and awed time and time again by what some people will go to the trouble of preparing for our hungry men and women as they endure a rigourous treatment program of rehabilitation and reconciliation.  Staff Volunteers are needed at Mary's House as well as at Father's House.
